The Aluminum pans are made from cast aluminum with a non-stick surface that make them easy to use and to clean. You have to be careful with the finish not to overheat them. The new pans today are more durable but you need be careful not to scratch the pans. You should use the wooden needles on this one.
The pan need not be cured before using. You should still always use a little oil in each cavity before pouring in the batter. Approximately a 1/4 teaspoon oil in each hole or less is about right. It helps make them taste the best.
When you make your aebleskiver for your guests or family, they will love you for it. The aroma filling the kitchen is so good, that they will have a hard time waiting to eat them. They will just love you for it.
Before you start using your new pan, you should always read the getting started page on my site, to get the best results from you pan. Also to know how best to clean it up and preserve the pan. Not really suited for the flat top electric stoves.
Aluminum pans are very lightweight and easy to handle. You have to be careful to treat them right and you will have a great pan for many years to come.
This pan is essentially the same as the No 10 pan, except this one is made in the US. It also has a Stay Cool handle.
This pan should be used primarily on gas stoves, not the electric flat top stoves. Make sure to read the getting started section, before using the pan, to get the best result out of it.

| The only difference between this and the #7
pan is the price and where it was manufactured. This one is made in
China. This pan is one of the few aluminum pans on the market. They are great on all gas and spiral electric stoves. It has the right shape, with the ring around the bottom to keep the heat evenly distributed to all holes. If it still have cold or hot spots you can cut the top of a #10 can and place on top of burner. This one has an insulated handle, to give you the most comfortable use. It will give you many years of great use. They are very light weight and easy to handle. They clean up very easy and stores well. |
| This one has a handle that will very easy burn. You have to be careful when cooking, not to have the flame come close the handle. When cooking you have to be very careful with the heat, it will transfer fast to the product and will turn the balls dark. The pans are very thin. None of the contoured pans should be used on the flat top electric stoves. They are made with a non-stick finish and you have to be careful not to scratch them. |
